Ideas for the future of MAAEA 2014:  Rejuvenate!!!

-An event in May for APIA Heritage month:
How do we better recruit and support APIA Educators?
How do we best advocate for APIA student needs?
-Welcome event for the new Boston superintendent in the fall
-Regular general meetings every two months to plan events and create a safe space for APIA educators to meet and support each other
-Promote culturally relevant curriculum created over the years

Update MAAEA brochure:
Areas of work
1) Outreach and Recruitment-building our membership base and building visibility and power
2)  Advocacy-planning events and strategies to increase awareness of APIA student and educator challenges
3)  Educator support space-Regular meetings to share experiences and strategies in our respective roles
