There seems to be a need in the Asian community, particularly Vietnamese, to build networks and get knowledge to make better decisions for students.
What resources does the district have that we can access?

MAAEA possibly draft a statement about charters?
not anti-charters, but pro education
We want quality education everywhere
-Services for ELL’s, special education, immigrant students and parents -Culturally competent education
-Schools aware of issues that Asian Americans deal with
-Schools should be able to recognize students of color, in particular Asian American students.
-Schools should have resources, staff, support services to meet the needs and equitably educate these kids.
