Meeting Minutes:
Advocate directly with the district for Lunar New Year as a day eligible for leave without loss of pay or personal leave, as it does for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Eidul-Fitr and Eidul-Adha. (We know the BTU is trying to get Lunar New Year on the contract.)

Letter from MAAEA - Go will send letterhead to Richard, who will run it by the MAAEA core members.
Petition from MA educators - Go will make rough draft of questions.  Could this also be a good way to identify possible people to join MAAEA?


A future project might be to identify more Asian American educators in the district.  It would be nice to have at least one member at schools with larger Asian American populations.
