BAASIC - very limited attendance - maybe because it was on Friday afternoon?  
-The workshop was expecting students to be a little further along in their racial identity development.

-Go will e-mail ECAASU to see if we can get in.

—e.g. why are you a teacher, what do you like best about your job, why did you come to this meeting?, As an Asian American, how did you talk to your students about Ferguson?, As an AA educator, do you feel supported to do your work?/how would you like to be supported to do your work?  Put data up and comment/react to it.  AA students need help too.  What do you see as struggles facing AA students. how does your family think of your job (meme - what I think about what I do, what does your family think about what you do?) (What dreams did your family have to give up on when you decided to become an educator)
What does it mean to be an Asian American educator? What is our identity and what is our impact?

Goals
-Promote anti-racist, progressive, social justice equitable practices in education (curriculum, hiring, etc.).
-Support/networking for Asian American educators.
-Network and build alliances with other progressive educators of color.
